Maggie's Farm Marijuana is Hiring a Production Processor (Trimmer) Near Pueblo, CO
- Responsible for maintaining and following Maggie’s Farm manufacturing and production procedures
- Work with management to assure all steps are being taken to assure company compliance.
- Take instructions and follow direction as delegated by managers to complete weekly team quota.
- Responsible for accurately weighing and recording all wet trim weights
- Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness in order to improve and promote quality
- Works in a timely manner and strives to increase productivity
- Responsible for maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the trim room while performing trimmings
- Responsible for maintaining Maggie’s Farm quality product
- Removing large fan leaves using hands and discard them into the plant waste trash.
- Removing branches and trimming buds.
- Manually trim marijuana plants using shears, scissors, hands, etc.
- Responsible for maintaining quality product while reaching daily quotas.
- Entry level for all new employees in Processing department
- Possesses an active MED Badge
- In person work location
- 30-day probationary period begins on first day
- If employee does not perform to standard in first 30 days they may be terminated
- High School Diploma or GED equivalency
- Six (6) months to one (1) year of experience in marijuana growing, cultivating, and/or trimming
- Knowledge and familiarity with cannabis
- Knowledge of marijuana plant anatomy and strains
- Ability to focus on task for a long period of time
- Accuracy and consistency in trimming
- Ability to accurately weigh and measure
- Familiarity with trim room procedures
- This role requires regular and on-time attendance
- As an outdoor grow, temperatures can get over 100F and below freezing. Farm work is done in the rain, snow, and heat
- OT may be required for periods of time based on field demand
- Standard schedule is Wednesday to Saturday and Sunday to Wednesday 6AM -4:30PM.
The Production Processor (Trimmer) is primarily responsible for the efficiency and quality of the marijuana plant trimming in preparation for sale. This position demonstrates proficiency, organization, calmness, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Successful candidate must possess a Colorado MED Badge and be able to work full-time, daily from 7:00am-3:30pm Monday-Friday.
